About OpenPsalm
OpenPsalm was created to assist in typesetting freely-available worship songs, optimized for acapella singing. Our goal is to make high-quality sheet music accessible to congregations and worship leaders who value unaccompanied vocal harmony.
All songs in the catalog are drawn from the public domain or other freely-available sources. We focus on four-part (SATB) arrangements suited to acapella performance, with support for exporting to MusicXML, MIDI, and LilyPond formats.
A note on song selection
The authors of OpenPsalm do not endorse any particular song, hymn, or theological position represented in the catalog. Users are encouraged to turn to the Bible as the authority for which songs are appropriate and appeal to their conscience, discernment, and diligence when selecting worship songs for their congregation or personal use.
