Risen With Christ

Verse 1 Risen with Christ! O boundless joy!
Seeking the things which are above;
Free from the cares that would annoy,
Walking in bonds of perfect love.
We who are dead and not our own;
Hidden with Christ, who is our life;
Heirs of the Father at the throne,
Free from all hatred, sin and strife.

Verse 2 Risen with Christ! O peace sublime!
Wrought for the world, let saints proclaim;
Jesus, the Lamb of David’s line,
Offered, condemned, for sinners slain;
Raised from the dead and set on high,
Peace from our God, so rich and free,
Rules in our hearts as we draw nigh,
Blessing His grace eternally.

Verse 3 Risen with Christ! O blessed hope!
Let all His saints with glad hearts sing
Triumphantly in wondrous note
Melodies sweet for Christ our King.
Elected of God, created new;
Bearing the fruits of righteousness:
Grace doth abound, fears are subdued,
Trusting His word in thankfulness.
