I Want to Work for Jesus

Verse 1 I want to work for Jesus,
I want to praise His name;
I want to live for Him each day,
His blessings to proclaim.
I want to be a winner
Of precious souls for Him;
I want to lead some wand'ring one
From paths of death and sin.

Verse 2 I want to follow Jesus
Wherever He shall lead,
Tho' steep the path or rough the way,
His biddings I will heed.
I'm not ashamed of Jesus,
Why should I ever be,
When He hath died my soul to save,
Thro' all eternity?

Verse 3 I want to live for Jesus,
My life to Him I owe;
I want to wear His yoke divine,
My ev'ry duty know.
I want to serve Him daily,
And strong in patience grow;
That I may help to save the world
From dark dispair and woe.
