At the Marriage Supper of the Lamb

Verse 1 What rejoicing 'round the throne of the “King of kings,”
When the church, the royal bride shall appear!
All the courts of heaven shouting with a glad amen!
Shall we be among that number over there?

Verse 2 What a gath'ring that will be when the trumpet sounds,
And the angel says that time is no more.
Then the voice, atuned to praises; will forever sing
In the chorus on the happy, golden shore.

Verse 3 Ev'ry nation, tribe and tongue, shall the anthem swell,
In the temple where the feast shall be spread,
Hallelujahs and rejoicing with the host of God,
At the glorious marriage supper of the Lamb!
