King of Gloryland

Verse 1 Christ is King of Gloryland, O magnify His name;
From the grave He rose triumphant, death He overcame,
Full salvation to the world His gospel did proclaim,
He is King of Gloryland!

Verse 2 He's a friend who's ever near to comfort, cheer and guide;
When the way is dark and lone He keeps close by our side;
Past all dangers He doth lead us, safe, whate'er betide,
He is King of Gloryland!

Verse 3 Praise His name, the name of Christ, obeying each command,
Side by side thro' faith press onward, holding by His hand;
Face to face some day we'll meet, and with the angels stand,
Dwell with Him in Gloryland!

Refrain He's a friend,
a precious friend indeed,
To the end He knows our ev'ry need,
O blessed be His name,
United we will be
With the King of Gloryland.
